Designated hitter Damion Easley touched them all and had 2 RBI as the Chicago
Rastafarians defeated the floundering London Hawk Lords 8 to 1 at Minute Maid
Field.
Chicago tallied 5 runs in the 2nd inning when they had 4 base hits. The early
run support proved sufficient for Rich Harden(9-6) and Chicago. That was all
the run support Harden required. For the game Chicago out-hit London 13 to
6.
Harden got help from Jose Mesa who was credited with his 3rd save. Adam
Eaton(9-8) took the loss. He pitched 1 and 1/3 innings giving up 5 hits and
3 walks.
Chicago continued their winnings ways improving their record to a division
leading 65-48. They are 8-2 in their last ten games. London can't seem to
snap out of their recent 'funk'. Now they have a miserable 2-8 record over
the last couple weeks.
